EZG vs Fuse

I have a fuse 56, I am 155 lbs. A little on the upper end for the 56. It seems really hard for me to throw around. Someone has offered to trade me their ezg 50 for my fuse. Do you think it will make a difference or is it just me sucking?

it would be a tight fit in the ezg. i paddle an ezg 50 and am 5 ft. 10 ish and about 135 lbs and it fits me really well... but it would be a harder boat to through around because its not a straight play boat. but it is an awesome boat.

I am about your weight and have the EZG50. It is pretty easy to initiate at my weight and I think does so better than the pure playboats that are built better for aerial tricks. Unfortunately I have no experience with the Fuse so can't tell you whether or not you suck.

I think it's about 1/2 that the EZG is hard to throw around and 1/2 that you suck. The only boat that I paddled until this spring was the EZG60. I'm in the 185-200 lb range. I got in a few smaller boats at roll sessions and managed to link my ends much easier. Then I got back in my EZG and was able to throw it around. So, IMHO the EZG is a bit tricky compared to some other boats, but once you get comfortable in a "cheat" sized boat you should be able to throw your EZG just fine.
