Extending the tongue on a HF folding trailer

Does anybody know of a bolt on part to do this. I am looking to put a platform on my trailer to transport my boat inflated and I definitely will need to put a little more space between the back of my SUV and the front of the trailer.

The problem that I have is that there is no tongue to speak of. The ball coupler mount sits on top of a cross bar that joins the end of the frame. Here is a pic.

I looked, but wasn't able to find anything that just bolted on. I ended up welding on an extension. I used the original front plate, and another cross bar a couple of feet back. I attach my spare to the cross bar now, and sometimes use it to carry my shuttle moped. You could easily put a box there.

Good luck.
