I just looked to see if there was anything indicating lift rating but didn't see anything, but I think they could have been 250# each (I found an extra I must have bought at one time). I just took a good guess when I ordered them, I'm sure there's a formula to figure it out but doing the math would take me a lot longer than lifting it and guessing.
When they were new it took about 10# of lift to open it with the raft and frame, now 5? years later it takes about 35# not bad but it's time to replace them. I do have a stick I use to hold it open just in case something breaks because the deck is so heavy (1x2 box steel and 3/4" plywood).
I wish it was a little taller to fit a cooler inside but like catwoman said it would make it harder to load the raft on it.
