Embudo - 1st year with thin plastic was???

What was the year that had the thinner plastic? Might be buying a used Embudo soon. thanks!

2002, there aren't that many left from that first year if you know what I mean... I ended up warranteeing my boat because of a crack under the seat, after a season and a half of paddling.
