dry top with elbow pads

What brand dry top has built-in elbow pads? Don't need real elbow pads, just a little padding.

Thanks

My Stohlquist dry-top has padding in the elbows. It is several years old and I haven't seen their latest line but it's worth a look.

When I want just a little padding, like for the play park, I wear some thin martial arts elbow pads directly on my elbows underneath the dry top. I imagine that would be better than a padded dry top because the pad is snug on your elbow. Or....you might want to just go ahead and get some creeking pads. They are reasonably priced:

The Shred Ready website says $29 but I've never seen them more than $25. I love mine.

Yeah, I've lost one elbo pad at the Gore put-in, one at Bailey, and had at least one blow out of my boat on the highway. After $100 in lost pads, I've decided I need them attached permatently.

Thanks!

Wave Sport made a top with pads a couple years ago.

I don't know what size you need but Confluence Kayaks has a XS on the rack they would let go.

Endless River Adventures in Bryson City, NC had a BUNCH of the WaveSport tops back in mid-to-late November (they're a WS vendor/ distributor, though, so they generally have pretty good inventory for both boats and attire).

You might check out their outfitter store online, or give them a call?? Really nice people.

I have a Lotus Design Class V. They are pretty expensive but check and see if Sierra Trading Post has any left. That is where I got mine for like $120. It has built in shoulder pads (cushions) as well as elbow pads. you can also remove the elbow pads if you are ever doing milder water.

Get a real set of elbow pads. I'm not talking the foam ones either. If you take a hard hit w/o the hard set and/or the built in pades you're going to...A. break your elbow b/c the foam sucks. B: tear your drytop.

I've dropped off some big drops and landed on rocks with my elbows. The Fox pads are the best I have ever used.
