This is what I've been thinking about using to elevate my seat on an NRS frame & create some additional room for a dry box. Anybody used this from Cascade Outfitters? It can be strapped to the frame.

Seat Bridge, Cambridge

Seat bridge fits over a dry box or in place of a dry box to hold a high back or low back rower’s seat. Designed for Salmon River Frames by Cambridge Welding specifically. Can be made in custom measurements by special order. Call us for custom orders.

Bingo !!!!!! Plus with the DRE bracket, you have to get your measurements exactly right. With the AAA, there's a little bit of wiggle room. Plus with those Super Groovy NRS frames, I might just get a hankering to move stuff around again, and I'm not stuck with a seat bracket with a fixed width.

The best Super Groovy thing about an NRS frame is the ability to take it all apart and shove it into a twin engine Islander to fly into Indian Creek every fall.

God forbid someone should have to know how to use a tape measure and get their measurements right!

What is the world coming too??

Everything AAA makes "has a little wiggle room" because it's dogshit.

Same goes for N.R.S.

But hey, you saved $80 and that's all the more dogshit you can pile in a fucking Islander.

I can get my D.R.E. in a super cub. - So there!

Most of the people who spend outrageous money on DRE are slaps who don't know how to build their own stuff. BTW has anyone ever used speedrail fittings to build their own elevated seat mount? I know someone will say it may not be secure enough, but if you used some 6061 and pinned the fittings as well as tightened the setscrews, it would work.

So if people who spend money on DRE frames instead of building there own are "slaps" then that would make people who spend money on NRS frames....retarded??

Am I missing something?? Other than the fact that rafterman is the coolest guy on the planet???

toolz hoo donet no there grammer our amuzing ass wel

Don't be sad if you spent way too much on your frame setup acid stoner guy. I'm glad there are people helping the retail markets. Surely they were happy to take your 800+ dollars...especially since it cost them 150-200 to build.

just because you are ok with using fencepost on your ghetto rig to save a few bucks is no reason to disparage someone for spending $800 to go along with their $3000 boat ...
