Well, given the oddity of the reported "process changes" I'd say they have shrinkage issues. If they're using the same mold, same plastic, same process, then only production flaws would result in a different shape. If they are using the same mold, new plastic, new baking program, then I could envision a finished product that varied from the previous boats. Though, you'd see it in more places than just the hull if shrinkage/curing variances were the culprit.
On the river, I can abandon who I am and what I've done. However brief it lasts, while on the river I am nothing important and everything insignificant. I am flotsam, and happy to be so.
