Cross bars Size question

Im looking at yakima crossbars for my trailblazer ext 03 i always carry about 3 to 4 boats im wondering what size i should get 66 inch or 58 id love the extra room is there any cons on goin big?

Go 66. Wider better.

I even have 88in for my tahoe. As long as they don't go beyond your mirrors you are legal. Just watch your head.

It's easier to load too.

Go wide. But seriously find a way (tennis ball, foam, bicycle handlebar wrap... Something) to pad the ends with.

If possible, locate your bars at the forward edges of the front door and a bit behind the back door (where your head doesn't generally go)
