If you are internet troll paid to say that ....still wrong but understandable.

If that is how you really do coffee you are a sick person and need help. There are so many better alternatives that only add an ounce or two to your pack.

Poor judgement on coffee leads to poor judgement on the river.

Friends don't let friends boat on instant coffee.

we usually sprinkle a cup of cold water over the top of the grounds a minute before pouring. helps to settle the grounds.

personally, i prefer a cup o coffee you can sink you teeth into, though.

Used to live by the motto;

If it can't hurt you it isn't important. Most relative to coffee and booze.

Yeah all you naysayers. When I go super light or need to be extra fast, I take the packets. It takes at least 1.5 of them for a go cup and I add hot cocoa too. They are Pretty good, super fast, and nothing to deal with.

Having tried both packets of Via and real coffee out of a percolator I choose the extra weight of the percolator and Bongo Billies coffee. Starbucks tastes like crap to me anymore.

It's gotta be how I like my women dark and murky! Oh ya and extra crunchy bro. I've always talked crap on all instant coffee but my friend she brought one of those Starbucks instant packets on a trip and was drinking coffee way before us hounds sitting around waiting for the huge pot to boil.. I'm cringing saying this but it was delicious.
Pool and a pond... Pond be good for you.

As an old mountain friend of mine once said....."the trick to a good pit of coffee is it doesn't take as much water as you think". My grandpa used to say " if a horseshoe won't stand up in it, then it's not strong enough"

Boy I'm really surprised that I was ripped for suggesting STARBUCKS. You guys all drink it so don't act so high and mighty. Truth be told I only do the Starbucks instant on IK trips(it's still pretty good though). I perk it on raft trips mostly because i'm going for big quantities.

If you are making breakfast with coffee (instead of beer and coffee), use a crushed egg shell to take the grounds to the bottom. Crack and cook egg, save shell. Crush eggshell well in hand, apply to pot of coffee within a few minutes of serving.
