I was looking at ordering one earlier and I'm debating on the offset. I've been using a 30 degree since I started paddling, but I've been doing a lot of playboating lately. I was considering ordering a 0 degree for the purpose of learning bow stalls, but 12 and 30 degrees are the only options. Will 12 degrees be flat enough and worth making the adjustment?
Also, I seem to remember hearing that the fiberglass blade may be a better option than the carbon from a durability standpoint. Since both blades have the same shape, I really don't see any reason for carbon (other than a minimal weight difference). What do you think?
