cataraft anchor weight?

Hey I have a 16 foot air JAG with a ten foot frame that will normally be fishing with three people out of... I have the nrs anchor system and want to use it to steelhead fish the salmon better... Not sure on how much weight I need... Was planning on just a lead piramid weight... Any info would bei great..

30 pounders are pretty standard for drift boats and rafts, I would think that would work. I personally like my spike anchor but both work fine.

Cast iron anchors are better for the river

We sell the cast iron anchors form Aire. The old lead anchors rub off on the rocks and pollute the river with lead. 30# is the right weight for you 16' cat. We sell both the pyramid and spike models. Not sure if I like one better than the other. I better go try them out again.

30# lead pyramid on my 12' two man. It stops on a dime.

I use a 35 lb lead anchor on my aire Jag.
