Just wish they were still in the twin-tube business.

Yeah, go twin tubes!

And if you actually do get an AIRE, they'll stand behind their product, and fix it even if you were the one who messed it up.
Actually, as I think I've said before, I'm pretty darned happy with the attention Sotar has been giving this issue.
I was just surprised at the appearence of the tubes and wondering if others thought they should LOOK BETTER, and if that seam really COULD BE an issue.
As for AIRE; I paddled a submerged log once, and I also paddled a Hyside IK once. They were too similar...didn't prefer one over the other. I've rowed a freinds Ocelot several times. Nothing like a log, or Paddlak. And Nothing like a Sotar Legend either!!! Unlike the log and the paddlak, I CAN tell the differrence. Even after only rowing the Legend through a couple of class III+ rapids, I couldn't go back to an Ocelot.

So let's be clear about this. Sotar has been very supportive and offered all of the options I mentioned in the poll, as well as others I didn't mention. I am absolutely convinced of thier comittment to my total satisfaction. I was just asking opinions about which option I should take....NOT ways to force them to do what they willingly offered.

Glad to know that Sotar gave you options to deal with the issue. Given their price and reputation it's not all that surprising.
