I'm going from a stomper 90 to an XL burn (pre-ordered now, I get it next week). I'm about 210lb with gear. The XL is 89 gallons. My stomper was 90. I don't think I'll have an issue and for the boats intended use the volume will be good.

I hope you're right about the edges streetdoc, and it sounds like the XL is money for your size.
Let us know how it paddles when you get it out there - "average Joe" reviews are still pretty tough to come by.

So do I! Planning on running pine/#'s next week and possibly slaughterhouse the week after. Will try to post up a more "ordinary paddler" review.

One of the biggest hopes I have is getting rid of how shitty I paddle in my stomper after I've paddled my playboat for awhile.
