So i recently bought a Bomber Gear hydrology drytop at sierra traders and i have taken it out on the river and i swear it is leaking. i can feel water droplets shaking in the arms. I think i should take it back, but some people told me it is normal for drytops to take on some water, but then why is it called a drytop? So then should i exchange it or wear some poly pro to absorb the water? any suggestions on good tops?

I recently got the same top from sierra, When I tried it on I found a small hole in the colar where it looked like it was stapled. You could barely see it from the outside, only when light shined through from the inside. My friend Shawn got the same top and his is fine. I returned mine and got one dirrectly from Bomber. The new one looks great.
I've owned a few drytops and currently have "The Bomb" by Bomber gear. Never leaked a drop in play or getting worked in a rapid. They even replaced the neck gasket for me for no charge when I split it while trimming. Best drytop on the market. Can't say about the "hydrology" though.
my bomber gear works fine. i stay completely dry if just running and gunning - even in very splashy class vish water. if i'm playing and spending more time upside down, then i take on some water - not a lot though. so i guess it depend on when you get wet. if it's just from splashing around - then that's a problem.
