bliss stick huka

has anybody paddled a huka that weighs in at around 225? Is there enough volume to float that much? Or how about the dagger cfs?

I have a Huka and weigh 225.

I paddle my ass off in my Huka. I am still not sure what to think. I keep getting spun around. I am starting to think that I am too heavy for my boat. I weigh 225 and am 6 ft tall. I have the seat moved all the way forward and it still spins.

It does boof great and it catches eddy's fast. When the bow hits an eddy line, you're already in the eddy. It turns that fast.

I paddle a lot and am confused on what to do next.

Hukka off-course

The same principles that make a boat easy to boof have the tendency to make the boat a little easier to bump off its line. The Hukka does this but only if you don't use draw strokes to keep your course.....a blade should be in the water at all time anyway. I don't think this is because of the paddlers weight. I am 190 and the hukka will bounce offline if I'm not keeping it straight. I have some heavier friends who love the boat! Try one out.
