Buy a Skirtworks skirt and do it right- it won't cost you a dime more. Have then build it to your boats setback to get the best performance out of it. Example: I have a Jackson kayak that I sit six inches from the rear combing and most manufactors build their skirts to a 4" setback- hence I never had a skirt that sealed well. Called Skirtworks and had them build my skirt for me. Six years later still dry as a bone and looks brand new. Just buy the right tool for the job. Skirtworks builds all my skirts and they are impressive in the craftsmanship and I've seen them all.

I love to dance, but who needs the music- It throws me off.

I have an IR Kling-On Empire that I have been using hard all season and absolutely love it. True, I was a little leery of the bungee style vs rubber rand, but I haven't had a problem and it's super solid and dry. I've also noticed that the bungee is much easier to put on when it's freezing out and my hands are numb. Just my two cents....
Also, I wrote this article about this skirt once: The RiverVibe Review: Immersion Research Klingon Empire Sprayskirt

Please take a look at my Photo Web Gallery.
I also have here some gear reviews (that I might update soon).
