Best Creek Boat (in your opinion)

Hey guys just wanted to get some opinions on what the BEST creek boat that is out there right now. I know this is all purely an opinion thing and the best way to know what's best is to try them and all that. But give me your favorite/best and why you think so. I'm looking to get a new boat this summer and was interested in your guys' thoughts. I've got my eye on a bliss-stick mystic right now but was interested in some other options. (p.s. I'm 5'11 and 165 lbs)

The Nomad is a great boat, I had one a few years back and paddled it until it was full of holes before replacing it. There is a reason that it hasn't changed in the 10ish years that is has been on the market.

I love the design of the nomad. But the stomper just feels better in the build quality to me. If I could dream, I'd do something like a nomad 8.3 but made by Liquid logic or jackson using the pyranha blow molding technology so I don't need no stinkin center pilars. But given what is on the market. I settled for a stomper 80.

Since I creek mostly low volume water, for us 200 plus folks, Jackson Mega Rocker just goes right through the gnar and those round sides do not catch on anything, my second vote goes for Jackson Super Hero which is better for holding the line of ferry moves.

Don't want another boat right now (I have both of the above) but if I had money to blow I would get a Stomper!

Mega Rocker for ELF, Super Hero for regular creeks.

If I was looking for a new creek boat it would be a Stomper.

Depends on what you call creeking.. Idahos boat would be a remix 69 or 79 and the other Rocky Mountain mank would be a Jefe.

For your size I would lean towards a Nomad 8.5, a Stomper 90 or a large Burn (you might want to look at the Shiva and Karma as well).

the best creek boat is the perception phat. modern creek boats will crack in less than 1 season of normal use. planned obsolescence keeps the cash flowing. it's viciously cynical but that's how the world works.
