AT4 vs. AT3 vs AT2 paddle?

Does any really know the difference between them?
Outdoorplay.com is selling all 3.
I know the stores only sell AT2 & 4 these days, so does the AT3 have a history of breaking?

Thanks,
Joe

AT3 Edge

Joe,

I can't tell you about the AT2 or the AT4, but from experience I love my AT3 Edge. For someone like me who abuses paddles in a play park and bounces them off of rocks in class III & IV water, it has been an awesome paddle. When playing in low flows, from time to time, I scrape the thing on the bottom while in a feature, it takes it like a trooper and shows little wear. I am sure that there are other paddles out there that are great paddles too, but I can say that mine has been worth every penny and after a season of abuse it still looks nearly new!

as you go down in numbers you lose weight and lose reliability. i think the at2 flexi is a great paddle but i have seen several break. the 3 and 4 are heavy to me and it seems the bend in the bent shaft is different in each model. i personally believe that the werner is a better paddle and thats what i use. i would try cks instead of outdoorplay, great folks.

I used to have an AT3 Edge (yellow border) and loved it but now I have an AT2 and love it as well.

I never had the chance to compare them side by side but if you don't want to spend the extra cash on an AT2, the AT3 is a great paddle.
