I purchased this 4-Bow Boatarama bimini last summer for $160 shipped off eBay. I was sold on a double wall 1 inch frame. They lie! The walls were paper thin and with the larger 1 inch diameter tubes, the frame was easy to bend by hand. Not sure how they could have made the walls any thinner.
After returning it, I purchased another cheap bimini ($150 shipped) that was a 7/8 diameter frame on eBay from another company. A best offer accepted deal. Much sturdier.
I then paid $65 to convert all the nylon (plastic) hardware to stainless. 6 top slides, 8 toe caps, and 2 hinges.

For about $215 and a little remodeling, my bimini seems as sturdy as a $450 river sombrero. Never seen a $450 sombrero in real life though.
I recommend using 2 loop straps front and back for strength and to quickly drop the bimini when needed. Also agree going with 54 inches high, I can stand up under mine.
