These are still just soft neoprene booties and don't provide much support. Good for squeezing into a kayak, but if I was just rafting I'd get something more shoe-like.
My old Patagonia play boot was more supportive/secure while still fitting in my creeker. But I couldn't get those on over dry suit booties. The Keene goes on/off easily.
The two straps seem to hold 'em on fairly securely, I don't think they would come off in a swim but I didn't test that out.
Traction felt pretty good.
They have drain holes and the water mostly pumps out, but they did retain some water. Draining might work better if you don't remove the insole since the holes are relatively high on the sides. And my fit without the insole was a little sloppy which probably contributed to holding water.
