We had a few we ran commercially, and liked them, but they didn't really hold up to commercial use. We had self bailers that the I beams popped. We had wrap floors that eventually delaminated. They don't track terribly well. They were a lot of fun in the whitewater. Check and make sure the valves are good and have valve caps. I think they all were made with the short Haulky Roberts valves that are no longer available.
If you can get one that was in private use, and doesn't show wear from these problems, you're probably in good shape.
Thanks, the one I'm looking at was a private use boat, it may need some minor floor repair for a slow leak, but otherwise is in good shape. I'm planning on using it on the New and Gauley, may look at getting an oar rig for it as well.
