Unfortunately, the paddle didn't make it out with me (though I have about 15 witnesses to the event). Surviving the incident was a priority over the paddle, though I am embarrassed about how long I foolishly held on to the remaining piece before I finally realized I was in what was destined to be the most life threatening swim of my life (thus far). I finally let go of it and only managed to make it out of the river a few yards above Pyrite.
If Werner wants to send me another 194 zero offset Shogun, I would take it.
