Adding a chafe strip

So I just bought a new pvc raft that doesn't have a chafe strip on top of the tubes. The trouble is I don't know where to get the material to do this. Any ideas in the Denver area where I can purchase something like this, or any web sites? Thanks

All of the river stores sell patch material and the appropriate glues. You're going to need a lot of glue for the area you want to cover.

You might think about a few applications of urethaning paint the top as a "chafe" strip instead, there are some commercially available for use on PVC rafts. It might be a lot easier then glueing on a giant strip. What brand is it?

Well as bad as I hate to admit it, it is a crappy Chinese no name. The deal was to good to turn down and as it is a spare boat that won't be used all that often I figured if I reinforce a few areas it should last a while. We will see. I do like the idea of paint on. Of course I don't know where to pick that up either.

This might be helpful. I've since sold the boat discussed, but was doing well through last fall.
