a couple questions about magic eraser

I read a couple post on the buzz about how the magic eraser took off scuff marks and black marks left from the frame, so I tried it. Wow. It is amazing how clean it gets the raft. My question is, has anyone had any bad experiences with it? If you use it enough times, does your raft end up with holes instead of scuff marks? Where do those black marks go? It sure does make a raft look great.

Used it for a few years on stubborn frame marks. No problems. Where to the black marks go? It's called a Magic Eraser for a reason.

They turn into dust along with a little bit of your boat. Why would anyone care about black marks?
