I'm 140 (before gear) and the Med. is perfect for me, so I would think that the Large would be good for you. Generally, a larger boat will float you higher and therefor be faster for you as there is more plastic out of the water.

Please take a look at my Photo Web Gallery.
I also have here some gear reviews (that I might update soon).

Agreed, I can fit in the Medium at 6'3" 200lbs, but prefer the Large based solely on the extra space and higher float.

I've paddled the Large and it was too big for me. I'm 6ft, 180. I'm in a Medium burn and it feels perfect.

If I was in CO, I would take it. Somehow I think shipping it to the east coast is not worth the cost, but I'll look into it. I'll be in touch kcoopman.

I'm told by the guys at CKS where I'm waiting for my boat to arrive that there are indeed 4 sizes of the Burn III this year, and that at 6'1" 205 I might fit best in the XL. So the new large may be smaller than in the Burn II (my speculation). Haven't seen any specs yet.

That was the joke. Way to ruin it for me. I don't really care about boats, but making paddling plans, I like where you're going with that.

I laughed, then ruined it for him!

Shiva it is. If I can repair my busted burn, it will go as my bigger water boat.
