I want to be very forthright that I have yet to paddle it. The size we did for prototyping (M) is too small for me at 210 lbs. That said, EJ said it will paddle just fine in many creeking conditions. Not sure I would prefer it over the Villain for SSV, primarily due to speed that I don't care for when on runs of that nature.
I expect the less advanced but aspiring creek boaters will enjoy the paddling aspects that the Zen provides far above the Hero/Villain. Those two boats offer great hulls for beginners to advanced alike, but the speed, carvability and river running aspects that the Zen design incorporates will be so much fun when paddling more river run type features. Might be a much better all arounder actually now that I think about it. As I say always, its all about the DEMO!!!! We make sure every single dealer has fresh demo's every year and this one will be most important for those considering all the upgrades our designs are getting this year. New plastic, new outfitting, new grab handles even... DEMO, DEMO, DEMO!!!
Let me ask EJ, but I may put the CAD drawing up if he is ok at this point. No one besides a handful of dealers that came out for our Dealer Summit two weeks back have seen it...
