Wood at Waterton 5/1/08

There was a big tree sticking up right in the middle of the 2 big rapid on Waterton. It's at the top of the rapid that has the gigantic rock in the middle of the river and you go left there. Anyway, the tree was obvious at todays level, 1200 cfs. It's easy to miss. However, if the water comes up the tree may be hidden. It's about 6 feet from the left hand rock at the top of the run (on river left). FYI.

The wood was there last season too, I think. No biggy to skirt right around it whether one is trying to go left or right.
