Upper South Boulder Recon (wood)

Fred and I paddled USB sunday night. Flows were the biggest I've run in there (600ish), which made for a very eventful evening after a 5:30 pm put-in time. Portaged all of the main drops, but the in-between whitewater was extra terrifying due to an overabundance of full size trees in the river. There are a number of strainers with branches, and we were forced to boof over a few sketchy ones. USB is very scary in the current conditions. Thanks to Nick and Andy and whoever else helped them cut on the first log below Gash.
