Tree Blocking the River Upstream of Salida

There is a large cottonwood tree blocking the entire river channel on the Big Bend to Salida stretch of the Arkansas River. The tree is about one mile upstream of the CR166 Bridge. This section is not advised for boating at this time. We will attempt to remove the tree this Saturday.
