river wide tree in lake fork of the gunny

Just above suprise ledge, its a middle aged evergreen of some kind, with most of the trunk just below water level, lots of branches still on it. It can be snuck on either side. River left, upstream side of tree is the better sneak, youve got about 5 feet over there to get river left of the rock that its braced on. You can go right if you have to, but I don't reccomend it. In order to get right of it you pretty much have to boof a few sub-surface rocks (and nearly into a bush) to dodge the dangerous underwater arborage. Deflecting off those rocks could be disastarous. This thing can sneak up on ya, ye chillun lookin to step it up on the Lake Fork, so when you see the 1/2 way parking lot (the outhouse) pick a side and be ready to get there.

This post may be in vain, there is a good chance that at this time tomorow a local rafting company will have a tow-truck out there to dry out that firewood once and for all. In the interim, on the off chance that doesn't happen, and someones out to run that.. here ya go, big tree in the lead in to suprise ledge.
