River wide strainer on lower Dolores

There is a river wide strainer at River Mile 10.5 just below where the power
lines cross the river. A big tree fell across the river (you can see some of
the branches sticking up out of the water - it looks like a fence across the
river). You can get around the tree on river right, but must "dismount" and
drag your boat through the weeds.
The tree will probably move when the water comes up. And after that wind
yesterday more trees will probably come down. Stay awake at the oars/paddles.
Please get the word out to other Dolores River boaters.

Does 'river mile 10.5' mean 10.5 miles upstream from the Confluence of the Dolores and the Colorado, ie. near Utah Bottoms? Or is that 10.5 Miles downstream of Bradfield near Chicken Aspen Canyon? Thank you for the info.

This is the stretch between Bradfield Bridge and the Dove Creek Pump Station. So downstream from Bradfield.
