Gunny Gorge - Wrapped raft

I don't think it will cause too much of an issue right now, but the group in front of us wrapped a raft in the Boulder Garden Rapid in Gunny Gorge on Saturday, 7/29. It is a couple feet under water, but an oar is sticking stright up between the boat and the rock. We went left of it and had no problems. The raft in the group behind us took the right line that goes no where near it. You cannot see the raft from above and barely from below. It is going to be there for a while, so be aware. It may become more of an issue at lower water (it was at 1200 yesterday) when it becomes the standard line as indicated below. I think the two guys and the dog ended up spending the night in the Gorge as we didn't see them take off and it was getting late... Unfortunately, we couldn't assist them as we were all in kayaks.

Here is a description of the rapid. I believe the 'fang rock' is the one where the raft is wrapped.

Beyond mile 7 is the Boulder Garden (Class III/IV). Look for Baby T-Rex Rock on the right upstream of Boulder Garden. Scout Boulder Garden on river left. Two routes are most commonly run. At flows above 1,000 cfs most will navigate the narrow slot on river right. At flows below 1,000 cfs a more technical route is required running left and ferrying back to river right at the bottom slot. Beware of Fang Rock at the bottom on river left. Many boats have high sided here.

Ran it again this weekend and the raft has been removed.
