Renaissance Adventure Guides is seeking fun, motivated and confident individuals to facilitate kayak instruction, help with office operations and ensure the overall safety of our clients (feel free to explore our website at

Kayak Instructor Positions:
-Minimum proficiency Class III kayaker (prefer Class IV if possible)
-ACA Whitewater Instructor Certification (you can take this class through Renaissance if you do not currently have)
-ACA Swiftwater Rescue Training/Certification a plus (you can also take this class or renew through Renaissance)
-Good people skills
-Background in teaching or educational experience is an added bonus
-Timeliness
-Good driving record
-Own vehicle and vehicle insurance
-Own kayak and personal equipment
-Rescue PFD
-Pay dependent on skill level and certifications
-Full/part-time positions available

Office intern:
-Prefer college students pursuing a degree/career in recreation, tourism, or education
-Must have good people skills
-Computer skills – MS Word, Excel, Photoshop, data entry preferred
-Answering phones, making reservations, maintaining equipment, facilitating trip flow
