Renaissance Adventure Guides is once again offering a range of kayak safety classes for all levels of boaters this summer. One can never be too safe, so join us to learn some new skills and brush up on the old. Currently on our schedule:
Kayak Safety Basics (2 Evenings): Wednesday and Friday this week. This is not a certification class and is suitable for anyone with basic river skills. This class does not use lots of rescue gear, but it does cover the subjects of foot entrapment, strainers, throw bags, shallow water crossings, and more.
ACA Swiftwater Rescue Clinic: July 20-21st.
ACA Swiftwater Rescue Instructor Clinic: Starts July 20th. This is a certification level class. Kayakers should have 2-3 years of experience and have solid class III to IV boating skills and have attended a Swiftwater Rescue Course.
