Don, Liam and I are all anxiously awaiting the start of the Ecuador paddling season! The three of us can’t wait to get back down there to run kayaking trips on some of the world’s best rivers.
Our season kicks off on November 12th with our popular Winter Whitewater IV- trip running concurrently with a Torrents trip (Class IV) .
On both trips, you’ll paddle 7 days, hitting up all of Ecuador’s classic runs that fall into the category of your trip’s difficulty. We’ll split time between Cabanas Tres Rios, the stunningly beautiful riverside lodge along the banks of the Quijos River, and the booming jungle town of Tena. That way you’ll get to experience both the cloud forest and the rainforest, a tranquil lodge and a bustling jungle city, plus you’ll get to bust out that shorty top when we get over to Tena!
On top of all of this, Larry Vermeeren—SWA founder and pioneer of the kayaking scene in Ecuador—will be guiding for us the entire month of November. It’s pretty awesome to boof your way down iconic rivers of Ecuador with the guy who made it all possible!
We still have a few spaces left on our two season opener trips, and we hope some of you will be able to help us start of the new era of SWA right!
