Yet another grand spot or two (dec 31 launch)

a couple people just had to bail on our trip for work reasons so i have spots for one or two. we launch dec 31 and go to south cove on the 19th.

we have enough rafts so it might be better if you kayak or just ride in a raft. its all pleasant people who don't whine so no whiners is my main criteria.

also this is a low budget trip trying hard to be kept well below $700 including food, shuttle, permit, gas from durango.

Oh, to be on the Grand surely would be that...

Dana,

Really don't want to go offtopic with your GC post, but what do you do on your big trips for a water filter system? I am on Yakrafter's march 11th trip and mass of filtered water for all is still on our unsolved issues list. (Yesss, snuck in a shameless plug!)

Enjoy your grand experience.

Dirk

well, we carry lots o water. then have a few backpacking filters in the group. only takes 30 minutes to refill a few jugs from a side creek. its no big deal really.
