Who wants to run the Gunni Gorge?

The Gunni Gorge aka Black Canyon light is running 1500 cfs. Does anyone want to run it Sunday? I'm thinking it would be good to do shuttle on Saturday.

So far there are 2 of us running the Gunni. We only have 1 car capable of making it down to the Chukkar putin. It would be great if someone wants to go with a truck, SUV or even a subaru outback. I'm in Grand Junction now so I can help run shuttle on short notice.

Would appreciate any info you could share after your trip regarding the state of the road to Chukar. I hear it can be very nasty in wet conditions. Thanks! Have fun!

The road was good. I took my Pontiac Grand Dam all but about 3/4 mile to the trailhead and mountain biked back to the car at the trailhead after our trip was done. We took a Subaru Outback in there and had no problems. Good surf at 1500 cfs.
