There is nearly always another couple of boaters there if you go after 3-4pm. I've also never had any qualms with going by myself there, since a self rescue is pretty easy too. People are around all the way till dark usually too.

How are the flows down there? I'm a solid class 3-4 down river boater, but I just picked up a P52 and want to get serious about play boating. Any advice on which feature I should stick to in order to get used to the new boat. I moved into the P52 from an EZ, and I used to be able to side/back surf in the EZ. So I'm not clueless, but a little nervous getting out there in a new boat.

Library Hole is probably going to be the best bet for a friendly feature that is still high quality. Rodeo is sweet but not exactly friendly.

Hey Nick,

I'm just learning to playboat myself. I just went from a fun to an agent and decided I better learn to play cause well I never manage to make it out of town to run anything. Flows are pretty good right now. Nothing scary if you are a solid III/IV boater. I like Rodeo hole and Library.

Also you should give the Golden community rodeo a try. This is the last week. I've only been able to make it to one but it was a blast. The sport class is open to anyone who is willing throw themselves in the hole. No super skills required. I think I manged to spin once maybe and I still got a prize.

Damn I Look Good.
