Do you make your own almond meal ( seems feasible with a blender on pulse), if not which one does anyone like best for already made almond meal?
Also looking at coconut oil, some seems to be pure ( looks like just oil) and some seems to have the coconut pulp in there?
Making a trip to the big city this weekend to try to source some of these things while there.
I purchased Almond meal - pricey but it goes a long way with this recipe, mine is from Bob's Red Mill.
Coconut oil may look like it has coconut in it but it's just the way the oil solidifies at room temp, it still scoops out like veggie shortening and does not have actual flakes of coconut in it.
If you see just oil and not solid coconut oil it's called fractionated and has been processed more to remove long chain triglycerides so it's always liquid. I use solid coconut oil in my recipes.
Also do NOT try to sub out milk choc. for the dark chocolate - it ends up turning into a chocolate volcano in your oven - no fun to clean up
