Thanks for all the replies and advice. Unfortunately I didn't get to see most of this until after returning from the wedding, as I didn't have good internet access up there for the wedding. We ended up running Big Creek to Coal Creek, and it was great. We got some good mountain views and the trip was good fun. One section in the middle split into a lot of channels, and some in our group encountered a woman who had become stranded on an island after dumping her boat after a collision with a log.
We had 7 rafts, a double ducky, and a stand up paddle board, and all went well. Awesome day, awesome river.
We also ran the Middle Fork from Moccasin Creek to West Glacier. Also a beautiful trip, but with the high flows the whitewater was pretty mellow -- much smaller and easier than we expected. Still, it was a great day on the water.
Medic, I still hope we can get on a river together sometime!
