flatwater festivities abounded, but heres what i remember. aside from the "cowboy camp" ( the end of a dirt road with a lot of bud cans lying around and 3 fire rings. ) a few miles below cisco on the left (keep an eye on the left bank and you should see the opening) , and onion creek ( super nice beach on the right) we spent all the other nights in blm campgrounds which abound. bad thing is that its a blm campground. good thing is you dont have to bust out the groover, there are trah cans at most of them, the tables are nice, there is good cover/anchors for tarpology( which is nice in the event of a downpour, we had a couple) and there arent many people there. you certainly will be a spectacle for those that are. make up a good story to yield more beer. bring firewood as finding it at the camps is unlikely. the road isnt to intrusive but you'll hear cars. pasta definitely knows the stretch very well and surely would answer questions. hell, PM him and he may well go with you.
