Westwater in late November?

So my brother is coming up to hang out over thanksgiving break and probably take a trip to moab for some biking and climbing.

I was wondering, does westwater run in late november, is it fun, would I be able to get a permit, and if so, is there anybody who would want to go do it with us?

Any other info about the trip would be sweet.

I am trying to get a Thanksgiving Westwater trip together. not sure right now what's going on with it, but yeah, it's definitely possible and if you're up then let's see...

i'd be interested if it's a overnighter and the weather/temps/ driving conditions look sane. just a crap shoot that time of year,no doubt.

have a 16ft raft so could carry gear for 6 others,cooler... and lots of firewood.

Of course Westwater runs in November, &Dec,Jan.feb,etc.No Permit Sign in @ the box. Watch Out for the ICE DAMS! Scouting can be done from a simple All Day Hike along the rim. GOOD LUCK.

Well after our talk, I guess you and yours can camp anywhere you can get to. Obviosly you are not concerned with the penalty for illegal up river motor boating, Or Camping. I have to wonder WHAT ELSE U R NOT Concerned with? As I said before GOOD LUCK to U & Whoever is on YOUR Trips.

i think everyone is pretty aware that it's a very weather dependent trip.
