Things can go south pretty quick and I have seen total pros mess up in the past. They fished everyone out looked like, that's all it matters in my opinion. Entering Funnel on the left side.... oi!

Looked like passengers and paddle boaters were totally green and confused.

Those kind of trips make memories! lol

They definitely made mistakes, but as Alex is saying even the best mess up. Adrenaline is pumping in everyone which just seems to make the whole thing more intense and sometimes chaotic. In general that canyon just makes the adrenaline go sky high. My heart rate started rising just watching that mess!

Definitely brings back memories! Like having a boat upside down tied to mine while hitting sock-it-to-me backwards with water in the nasty teens.

8 people in the orange boat going thru Skull. Crazy. Well done captain.

I thought those guys did a great job once things went south.

They got lucky at skull witht the entrance lateral (took it too early but with the weight they were OK). But the go-pro guy was money with the throw bag and on the puma re-flip after skull.

Glad the captain was a big fella able to power all them folks around.

What was going on at the room of Doom...i saw something red over there at the base of skull but not quite in the room (hard to get in the room at that level)

I think it was the kayak (or an IK). Don't know how they would get it out at that level.

We went through after them. The thing in the room of doom was a pool floaty toy, probably flotsam from ruby. There was all sorts of shit floating down river.
Ill tell ya one thing though.... it was quietest rigging for the rapids that I ever did on Westwater and the rapids took only 1/2 hour to go through.
To be honest I do it again in a heartbeat and I really like to do it in the terrible teens.

Who's your monkey?
