I've run 3.5' to 5' in a 12' Cat. Would not drive for less than 3.5' because the Stevens to BTO is much better at low water. Above 4.5' the bridge becomes a problem, we portaged at 5'.
Lots of private property, difficult to camp from raft. Lots of car camping on the road that heads south (Pingree Rd) about a mile up.
Paulk, I hope your right about 4.6' for 4 to 5 weeks, but it seems optimistic. I think people are going to be amazed how low and how early we see peaks. I'm going to predict under 4' and before Memorial Day.
Did the Yampa peak at 6k last week of April?
