That log is pretty bad. It has kind of turned the left slot into a death trap.
This will probably be the last week to get it out of there because after that it will be jammed in tight by a blast of current and extracting would require some tricky pulling while hanging over a dangerous spot.
I'll pull it out if I get a chance... but if I don't get to it then someone who runs Black Rock all the time please consider taking care of it.
If nobody pulls it out and someone swims that slot then they must assume the position before they get to the lip because they are going to die if their legs are underwater. If you have to go head first to get your legs up then get ready for a spinal cord injury
I've never seen anyone swim that slot but statistically speaking, it is going to happen some time. We should probably keep that slot clean every year.
