Trailer on Moki Dugway?

I'm looking at road access routes for an upcoming San Juan float. Any opinions on taking a raft trailer up and down the Moki Dugway between Mexican Hat and Highway 95?

Dave - not a problem. Did it a coupla weeks ago unloaded for the takeout shuttle, and loaded for the return home. The Moki Dugway is a slow, gravel hairpin-arama, but totally manageable with a trailer.

Okay, thanks for the info. Sounds totally doable with care and common sense. Looking forward to it!

I was pretty white knuckled driving up that hill and I get to the top and there's this truck driver up there with a semi-trailer loaded with hay bales that he was taking down to sell at the flea market in Mexican Hat. Said he did it every Wednesday. Not me, no way, but it can be done, huh? Have fun on your trip.
