450 coming out of the dam is a fun flow. 450 @ Almont gauge is not quite as fast/fun, but worth doing once if you're gonna be there anyway.

Put in at the "New Generation" parking lot, maybe ~1/4 mile above Tod's Slot.

Take out at South Bank parking area. Fairly easy hitch if you're solo.

Yea Steven, the upper Taylor is still fun at 350 out of the damn, but we usually combine the upper (section Mike referred to) with the middle Taylor, taking out at 5 mile bridge to make a great 8 mile trip. Middle Taylor has lots of private property so make sure to stay in boat. This might be the best we get this year so our IK group is definitely coming up this Sunday. Make sure to go with someone who knows the middle section ( lots of low water and lowhead bridge with a must make right side move)

Last few times I've run the Taylor have been immediately after riding Doctor. Great combo in a great place.

They cut flows out of the dam to 275 Friday night. Good OC run now.

300 should be fine. Was in CB all weekend and constantly surprised at all of the playboats I saw, in a place that hasn't had water in months.

I wouldn't drive any distance for 249 out of the dam. Spring Creek is kicking in most of that other 50 cfs and it comes in below South Bank, so you will be boating on closer to 250. I have ran it down to half of that, but there isn't much to it. A little rock dodging and that's about it. I personally think Numbers are significantly better at ELF levels.
