levels are good but the wood situation is not. the upper is mostly clear, the only section i couldnt see was behind the whitewater res. everything else on the upper looked good except rosy lane. i expect the commercial crews will yank that out of there. there is wood present elsewhere but it is not in the main channels. there is snow all the way down on river left.
the lower is a mess, the first rapids right after the bridge are currently over hung by three large pine trees that are around currently about 4' off the water. the big push later this spring might clear them out, might not. Either way they are STRAINER CITY right now, so portage right. also about halfway down at mike & annies rapid is set of two large trees that are in the river, at water level, and they span the whole river except for a passage ~3' wide. portage right (could be kind of interesting through the trees). again, i expect the commercial guys will get that out as soon as they start pushin rubber. lots of miscellaneous wood sprinkled throughout but not any other major problems.
the middle looked good, the dams all had wood but like the upper, its not in any particularly bad spots.
the upper upper (lottis to lodgepole) has some wood issues as well as a few holdout snowbanks and ice blocks. hopefully the floods will clean it out.
the park run is still no go; the plows havent made it anywhere near there yet. but its getting warmer so stay tuned.
i will likely be running either the upper or lower this weekend, it depends on the crew i can rally. ill let ya know
