The Tat is well worth it. I am going back this summer also-July 5

the trip is great. it really isn't kayaker friendly. It gets really wide 1 mile maybe after the Alsek, and braided. One can easily get separated, plus it is silty, fastmoving flat water.
Maybe take an inflatable but GO! There is one day of class III water at the start something like 6 miles. Compare to Browns canyon?

Have fun!

HI All, Thanks for the responses, but I've decided to postpone the trip but will still be runing it "down the road".

Thanks, Rick
