Taos this weekend?

Anybody else headed down to Taos this weekend? Planning on being down there Saturday (skiing am, Pilar pm) and Sunday (lower box). Anyone else?

A buddy and I are headed to Taos to paddle Fri - Sun. Would like to do the Embudo, Upper, and maybe Lower Boxen, would like to hook up with paddlers who have done these if possible, or anyone else who wants to boat for that matter, give me a call if anyone's interested.

Its snowing today, supposed to snow more through Saturday, with Sunday being nice. I highly doubt there will be enough water to run the Embudo this weekend, but the upper and lower box should both be a go this weekend.

FYI,
The Embudo gage is quite a ways downstream of the run. In between the run and the gage there are a number of irrigation ditches that are open in April when the Embudo is usually flowing. So 2.7 being a bony minimum in April is closer to 3.0 in March.

It is snowing right now and supposed to stay cold through Sat. Sunday looks pretty nice in terms of weather. The current Embudo flows are painful & bouncy and I doubt that it will come up much more these next few days (but I hope I am wrong). Upper box is in. I will camp Friday and Sat if the weather mellows out. Atom..
